The analysis of rhetorical strategies was a change from the book reports and standard essays that defined all previous English classes. The goal was to explore how writers use language and other devices to engage and influence their audiences. The focus shifted from dissecting literary novels to understanding the dynamics between writers and readers. I acknowledge that, at times, I veered off track, focusing on the topic of the artifacts rather than assessing the artifacts themselves. Because of this error, I chose this specific essay for my global revision.
